Caring for LGBTQ Patients & Residents

We talk about ways to create a welcoming environment and support for all LGBTQ patients, residents, and families, acknowledging as members of the LGBTQ community age, many feel they have to hide who they are. As the “silver tsunami” approaches, this group will only increase in size.

Non-nurses need to contact their appropriate licensing bodies and certifying associations to determine if there is reciprocity for attending approved nursing CE classes.
