Moral Distress: What Is It, and How Do We Address It?

August 6, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

In the healthcare world, we may be in a position of having to provide care in a way that causes us distress; we are delivering
care that we believe may not be needed or is more than we think necessary. Perhaps we are overwhelmed with our workload or due to constraints like COVID-19, we can’t do our jobs the way we used to.

This session will address ways we can name what’s going on (beyond self-blame and “I must not be doing this right”) and suggest some frameworks for positive change.

Zoom meeting. Login information will be sent via email after you register.
