The Grief Academy (TGA) is a virtual program designed for families who have lost a child between the ages of 5 – 18 or has a child who has lost a significant person. It provides grief fundamentals in an educational group setting and extends insight into specialized grief processes. TGA is offered virtually, every other third Monday of the month. It has a five-course curriculum to engage households on topics such as Types of Grief, Triggers, Children and Grief, Suicide, Overdose, and techniques on how to Support Grieving Children. TGA is an open group that aims to answer grieving families’ questions while supporting one another through the process.
